What does physiotherapy involve?

Physiotherapy involves a physiotherapist assessing your movement and function, then creating a personalised plan using exercises, manual therapy (hands-on techniques), and education to improve strength, mobility, and pain management, helping you recover from injury or manage long-term conditions. During your treatment, you'll undertake a course of 1 hour rehabilitation sessions with our physiotherapist, which can included tailored exercises in a gym setting, acupuncture, or manual therapy, depending where you are in your treatment journey.

Also as part of your treatment with Unity, you'll get tailored exercises to do at home to help you get back to daily activities using our Unity app.
