How we've helped our clients

We focus on three distinct steps to not only address underlying causes of your chronic pain and mobility issues, but to rebuild strength and help you maintain the quality of life you desire.

Treatment Stages:

Assessment & Pain Management:

The primary goal at this stage is to manage pain and discomfort, helping clients regain a basic level of comfort and mobility. This stage is ideal for those experiencing acute or chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or dealing with conditions that limit their movement.

Osteopathic Sessions: Manual therapy is used to address issues such as joint misalignments, muscle tension, and restricted movement. This includes hands-on adjustments and mobilisations to reduce pain and improve joint function.

Guided Exercise Rehabilitation: Gentle, controlled exercises are introduced to begin rebuilding strength and mobility in a safe manner. These exercises focus on regaining functional movement and supporting the areas treated in osteopathic sessions.

Return to Sport & Reconditioning:

The aim at this stage is to transition from managing pain to building strength, stability, and endurance. This is ideal for those who have achieved a basic level of comfort but need to regain their physical capacity for more demanding activities or sports.

Training-Centric Sessions: Emphasis shifts toward structured exercise programs that focus on rebuilding strength, cardiovascular fitness, and coordination. These sessions are designed to restore function and performance.

​Ongoing Osteopathic Support: While the focus is more on exercise, occasional osteopathic sessions may still be included to address any lingering issues or to ensure proper alignment as training intensity increases.

Maintenance: 

You’ve put in the work, now let’s keep you feeling your best. This stage is designed for those who want to sustain their progress, prevent future injuries, and stay in peak physical condition.

Primarily Remote Programming: Clients continue with customised exercise plans that they can follow independently. These programs are designed to keep them fit, mobile, and resilient, with regular updates based on their progress.

​

​Occasional In-Person Training: In-person sessions are available as needed for clients who want periodic check-ins, technique adjustments, or to tackle new physical goals with direct support.

​

On-going Support: Unity’s approach ensures you’re not left on your own after recovery. We continue to support your long-term health and performance with expert guidance, blending the best of both osteopathy and training.
