Cancellation Policy
TERMS AND CONDITIONS These terms apply to all 1-hour injury rehabilitation sessions conducted by Unity Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, and Sports Therapists. By booking a session, you agree to the following: 1. Cancellation and Attendance Policy: To respect the time of our clinicians and other patients, we operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Late Cancellations/No-Shows: If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, or if you fail to attend, the session is non-refundable and chargeable at the full rate. Exceptional Circumstances: We understand that emergencies happen. In demonstrable exceptional circumstances (e.g., sudden medical emergency or infectious illness), the cancellation fee may be waived at the sole discretion of Unity management. 2. Medical Disclosure and Indemnity: It is your strict obligation to provide full and accurate information regarding your medical history, current physical condition, and any medication you are taking. You must inform your clinician immediately of any new illness, injury, or changes in your health status. You acknowledge that rehabilitation involves physical manipulation and exercise, which carries inherent risks. You voluntarily assume these risks. You agree to indemnify Unity and its staff against any claims, losses, or injuries arising from your failure to disclose relevant medical information or from the natural progression of your condition, provided the clinician has not been professionally negligent. 3. Treatment Outcomes: Our clinicians use evidence-based practices to assist your recovery. However, due to the complex nature of the human body, Unity cannot guarantee specific outcomes, pain relief, or fixed recovery timelines. Successful rehabilitation often depends on your adherence to prescribed home exercises and lifestyle advice. 4. App Members Area Access: Access to the Unity App Members Area is a supplementary tool for your recovery. You will retain access to this area only for the duration of your active treatment plan. Access will be revoked upon discharge or if you cease treatment with us. 5. Data Protection and Privacy: All personal and medical data is collected, processed, and stored in strict compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. Your data is used solely for the purposes of your healthcare, booking, and administration. We do not share your confidential medical information with third parties without your consent.
